It’s 1887, and the Company has been kind enough to give you work. It has also been kind enough to give you an advance to cover your tools, lodging, and the air you breathe. You will be paid in Company scrip, which is good at the Company store. Interest compounds daily, so you better keep digging!

Article I
The mountain is fully destructible. Dig carefully by hand or blast your way through with explosives; just be mindful of cave-ins. Uncover precious gemstones and valuable ores deep underground. Explore procedurally generated caves and old mineshafts.
Article II
The Company sets your quota each day. Do your best to reach it, and weigh your haul at the foreman’s scale in the evening. The scale has been certified by the Company, so any complaints about its accuracy should be kept to yourself.
Article III
Work alone or with your friends in online co-op. Dig together, share a drink in the saloon, and carry each other to the doctor when things go south. The Company accepts no liability for workplace disputes.
Article IV
Head to the saloon after your shift to have a drink and gamble away your hard-earned scrip. Play poker, pool, and blackjack against your friends or the saloon regulars.
