Company Coal, the first game from Gorokon Studio, is coming to Steam in the first quarter of 2027.
It’s 1887 in Appalachia. The Company has given you work, an advance on your tools and lodging, and wages paid in scrip that spend only at the Company store. Interest compounds daily. Dig a fully destructible mountain, make quota at the foreman’s (certified, unquestionable) scale, and spend your evenings at the saloon losing what’s left at poker, pool and blackjack. Play alone, or bring friends along in online co-op.
